BIG INK Banner Wins ILEA Star Award

Graduates are honored with a BIG INK banner

BIG INK banner wins ILEA Star Award along with Be Events and Augsburg University for the Best Use of Specialty Decor. The oversized banner was created for the Augsburg collegiate grads for spring of 2021. Since a normal commencement wasn’t an option due to the pandemic, the university reached out to Be Events to try and find a way to engage grads with more than just a video stream. The result was a custom BIG INK banner that celebrated the diversity of the 855 graduates originating from 54 nations. The students on the mural were positioned looking away, to recognize the anonymity of the moment in history when we all couldn’t be together. We are proud to have been part of this project.
