For the second year in a row, BIG INK donated all the graphics for the Annual Children’s Heartlink Golf Invitational in Golden Valley MN. Over 140 golfers participated and followed die-cut ball and tee signs througout the Golden Valley Golf & Country Club. “The feedback from the graphics was all positive,” said Tom Trutna, president of BIG INK. “The sign at each hole featured a die-cut golf ball and tee with the HeartLink logo, the sponsors logo and detail art. The finished product was professional and fun, which both the sponsors and the foundation appreciated.”
The event raised over $100,000 for the HeartLink mission: to improve the prevention and treatment of children’s heart disease in developing countries. Heart disease is the world’s most common birth defect, affecting millions of children. “An event like this is definitely a win-win for BIG INK,” say Trutna. “We get to showcase some of the different graphics we produce and we get to help out a very good cause. Everyone in the company works on these jobs and we are proud to do this kind of work.”
